Our esteemed client is an American MNC and looking for a competent Financial Controller for its India office. Work location is in Gurgaon or Gurugram, Haryana, New Delhi.

Financial Controller (India's Office)

Job Summary:

The Financial Controller will be responsible to oversee and manage the full spectrum of finance, accounting, tax and planning activities in the Company. The incumbent is to provide progressive and coordinated Finance and Accounting support to specified units. He / She is to develop and implement strategic Finance and Accounting initiatives and transformation projects to achieve company business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

Serve as a strategic business partner to the senior leadership team through financial and management planning, information analysis, and recommendations; Assess and evaluate financial performance of the company with regards to its long- term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts, and provide insights and recommendations to meet both short-term and long-term objectives; Be a champion of operational excellence by seeking a thorough understanding of the company's operations, identifying gaps in processes, mapping out best practices, influencing charges as deemed necessary to move towards a high performing organisation; Be part of the executive management team and participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models for the company; SOX Implementation; Subpack & Management Reporting (MIS); Ensuring Direct and Indirect Taxes and Customs regulations are duly complied; Handle Sales Accounting, Monthly Closing and Audit Handling; Preparation and finalization of accounts, Vendor Payments, Cash Flow etc.; Implementation and adherence of proper Internal Controls; Insurance and other statutory compliances; All other duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

Professional Qualified Accountant Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience; Strong leadership traits and analytical skills; Independent, resourceful, meticulous and a good team player; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);

Must be familiar with United States Accounting Regulations;

Indian Citizenship and permanently based in India.
