You will oversee the financial management and reporting activities of the Singapore branch office, be responsible for budget planning and forecasting. Your duties will include: Lead a team of financial professionals to ensure timely reporting of monthly/quarterly management reports Review of monthly financial performance, highlighting key variances and conduct investigations of exceptions Oversee the planning and execution of the annual budgeting and forecasting process Review current internal controls and suggest process improvements to strength the control processes Prepare monthly journal entries, manage the full spectrum of financial accounting and reporting, prepare accurate and timely financial statements. Requirements: At least Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Above. Minimum of 6 years relevant working experience. Advanced knowledge of MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Possess good understanding of work processes & internal controls and adopts a positive learning attitude. Familiar with the academic publishing industry. Preferred: Experience relating to accounting, ACCA.
