As the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager, you will be responsible for all financial planning processes, including annual budgets, monthly rolling forecasts, and long-range business plans, and financial reporting to stakeholders of the Group. You will report to the Head of Finance, with a dotted line to the global leadership team. Your role will drive strategic analysis in a cross-functional, matrixed organization across multiple product lines and locations. You will drive business insights and continuous improvement, bring a quantitative, data-driven mindset, and have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

Position Duties

  • Work closely with the Head of Finance and global leadership team across markets and functions on the overall financial management of the global operations
  • Develop and manage the global annual budgeting and rolling monthly forecast processes including timeline, meetings, quality reviews and reporting
  • Implement systems and processes for tracking, maintaining, and forecasting Software as a Service (SaaS) metrics used in financial modelling e.g: Customer Lifetime Value (LTV), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
  • Evaluate business and reporting processes to drive efficiencies; drive continuous improvement initiatives and share best practices
  • Create and maintain useful reports and analysis tools to support business initiatives and decision making
  • Manage global reporting processes including monthly forecast calendars, executive presentations, business reviews and general reporting communications including analysis of key performance indicators, trends and areas of concern
  • Perform quality reviews and analyses of financial results and forecasts
  • Work closely with Head of Finance to critically evaluate scope, risks and potential returns of new projects and initiatives including preparation of ROI analysis, project prioritization and monitoring of budgets
  • Assist Head of Finance in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting to top management and review of financials from subsidiaries
  • Hold regular FP&A meetings to update the team on performance, projects, finance systems and other areas of finance and be a resource for local finance teams
  • Establish FP&A team objectives to align with company goals and evaluate performance against established KPIs
  • Share best practices, good ideas, and mistakes freely to establish trust, transparency, and teamwork with the regional and global finance communities. Leverage best practices wherever they may be generated and proactively seek and suggest better ways of getting things done
Requirements
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance or similar
  • At least 5+ years in FP&A or similar financial roles.
  • Candidates must have experience in financial modelling for Software as a Service (SaaS) businesses, and performing cohort analysis
  • Preferred candidate is a self-starter, who has been in a FP&A function before, preferably at a startup or growth stage company; or has financial modelling and analysis experience from consulting / venture capital background
  • Possess advanced knowledge and experience with financial accounting, corporate finance and business intelligence systems as well as advanced skills in financial modeling using Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and presentations using PowerPoint / Google Slides
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to articulate complex financial concepts
  • Strong financial modeling and analysis skills; good business acumen and ability to identify data anomalies, trends or deviations and introduce strategies for improvement
  • Client service oriented and fosters positive working relationships with a partnering approach
  • Well organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail; follows through on multiple projects and juggles conflicting priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment; sets and meets deadlines
  • Experience in collaborating with a team of colleagues; can effectively delegate, coach and leverage resources
  • Leads by example, demonstrates strong work ethic, has initiative and is a self-starter skilled in conflict resolution and problem solving, a creative thinker
