Key Responsibilities: * Compute, account and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, on a accurate and timely basis * Provide operational support on data preparation and passing Key Responsibilities: Compute, account and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, on a accurate and timely basis Provide operational support on data preparation and passing of the necessary accounting entries for fixed assets, leases, taxes, and financial instruments Analyse and attend to queries or clarifications relating to the reports and data provided Participate in projects or initiatives to ensure accurate accounting records and to achieve efficiency and effectiveness Support statutory audit process with external auditors for statutory reporting Assist in the corporate actions of local subsidiaries Assist in areas as and when assigned to the team To succeed in this Financial Reporting Executive role, you will need to have the ability to work in a banking environment. Key Requirements : A degree or professional qualifications in accountancy, preferably with relevant experience in a retail and commercial bank Ability to work with data sets and report preparation Working knowledge in Excel and SAS Experience with financial accounting, treasury practices, risk and compliance matters and systems development and improvement within the banking industry or as a statutory auditor is advantageous Necessary interpersonal skills and effective communication, both verbal and written Ability to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines Ability to work without supervision to achieve departmental and sector objectives This is a leading global bank and is progressively expanding and growing its business on a global scale.
