In this role, you will report to Head of Financial Reporting and be involved in financial reporting and analytics activities
:

• Involve in the design and planning of reporting process. Subsequently work on the deliverables to ensure the reporting process can be operationalise in a production environment
• Involve in user acceptance test of the reporting process and support the setting up of an accounting system
• Involve in the preparation of intercompany settlements (including verifying the transactions, issuing invoices, etc) and GST filing
• Involve in the monthly closing process, with rotation to different areas so that candidate can appreciate the full reporting structure
• Involve in the preparation of the local statutory financial statements and MAS regulatory reports
• Other related works that may be assigned

Who we are looking for:

• Good understanding of accounting standards and requirements
• Some understanding of MAS regulations and financial knowledge
• Detailed and Meticulous
• Strong analytics skills
• Accounting software knowledge and good Microsoft Office skills is a plus

Working Experience

• At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in the financial or accounting field
• Some audit experience will be advantageous

Education/ Professional Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or recognised accounting professional qualification
