Fire Protection Engineer
Job Description
Requirements
Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) in Fire Protection / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university with minimum 15 years relevant experience in the oil/gas industry, onshore LNG terminal or FSRU projects
Shall have extensive experience in developing safety engineering deliverables related to active and passive fire protection systems, safety equipment and emergency response, firewater hydraulic calculations, fire protection system P&IDs, equipment datasheets/ specifications, fire and gas layouts, fire alarm systems, hazardous area classification, flare radiation analysis.
Well versed in relevant Local Singapore and International Codes and Standards
Experience in LNG and oil & gas projects is mandatory.
Local Singaporeans and PRs are desirable
For foreign candidates: must currently hold valid passes in Singapore and have prior work experience in Singapore, along with relevant LNG and oil & gas project experience
Location: Ubi/ Jurong Port
Salary: $7,000- 8,000 plus or minus (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
This is a 2-year contract role.
