About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

• Self-motivated Global Markets management professional with an interest in delivering strategic change solutions to enable effective solutions around traded risk management.
• Good understanding of Trading, Market Data and Risk concepts.
• Strong technical knowledge specially in Murex and other Trading applications.
• Good business domain knowledge of banking & trading book.
• Highly effective communicating with technical stakeholders, proficient communicating with non-technical stakeholders.
• Good problem solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking and solutioning skills.
• Good understanding of Incident and problem management.
• Experience in automation tools.
• Ability to identify, monitor and manage project risks, issues and dependencies, and agree appropriate solutions with sponsors and key stakeholders.
• Strong influencing skills to achieve alignment up and down the organization.
• Experience in implementing large-scale, highly available applications production support.
• Proven result-oriented person with a focus on delivery.
• Good understanding and experience in software development cycle.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery, Capacity management and Business continuity planning and budget management and Tech refresh infrastructure related upgrade

Job Requirements

• Degree in computer science/engineering or related disciplines.
• 15 - 20 years of hands on application support experience in the banking industry.
• Experience working with MUREX and other treasury applications.
• Experience in Market Data, Balance Sheet Risk & VaR.
• Understanding of the model assignments, Market data, Rate curves etc.
• Experience in working technical platforms or programming languages - Unix, Oracle, Sybase, C++, and Scripting, EOD batch and control M schedulers.
