Job Description

Responsibility

• Assist the Workshop Manager to develop plans to meet KPI

• Ability to plan and set KPI for the department so as to meet quality or safety, health and environment objectives

• Assist Sales in review for availability of instrumentations, methods and techniques for achieving assembly, installation and testing and MRP, CRP to in-house / onshore / offshore / outstation tasks

• Comply with QP, work instructions and interpret acceptance criteria of the specifications

• Monitor and study on the usage and the calibration / preventive maintenance of all instrumentations and machines

• Assist to perform risk assessment and management of change as per specification

• Assist to formulate mitigation / contingency planning to lower the impact of risks

• Assist to draft, revise, and implement written procedures, work instructions and forms for fitting department

• Perform skills evaluation to key functions personnel in the department

• Identify training needs and training programs for key functions personnel
• Conduct pressure testing or load test and record onto test chart

• Train, supervise and coordinate fitter / painter to accomplish dismantle / assembly / testing / fitting / painting assignment as per QP, Safe Work Procedure (SWP) and work instructions

• Supervise a team of technicians to perform troubleshoot / fabrication / welding / machining / grinding activities for onshore / offshore / outstation assignment

• Draft, review and approve hydraulic / electrical / mechanical setup or layout schematic diagram

• Perform calculation / sizing / selection for usage of testing components

• Raise PR for spares for assembly and testing

• Perform safety inspection prior to pressure testing

• Conduct reviews of work processes and recommend workflow improvements
• Assist in root cause analysis
• Other ad-hoc duties
