Job Description
Royal Ocean Marine, a reputable maritime company, is seeking a highly motivated and organized Fleet Assistant to join our client\'s team. As a Fleet Assistant, you will provide support to the fleet management team and assist in the smooth operation of the fleet.Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating vessel operations, including scheduling, crew changes, and port clearance.
- Maintain accurate records of vessel activities, including voyage reports and crew details.
- Monitor vessel performance and fuel consumption, highlighting any concerns or discrepancies.
- Assist in the procurement of spares, supplies, and services for the vessels.
- Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely delivery and resolution of issues.
- Organize and maintain vessel certificates, licenses, and permits.
- Support in the preparation and submission of regulatory and compliance reports.
- Assist with financial administration, including verifying invoices and managing vessel budgets.
- Provide general administrative support to the fleet management team.
- Minimum Diploma in Maritime Studies or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in the maritime industry, preferably in fleet management.
- Knowledge of vessel operations, maritime regulations, and port procedures.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
