CMA Ships, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, covers all facets of the maritime business: from the fleet management of the vessels to that of the crew members.

CMA Ships is also a team of experts responsible for implementing innovative solutions and making CMA CGM vessels more energy efficient.

CMA Ships has an opportunity for Project Manager with our Fleet Upgrade team, to be based in Singapore.

The position shall be responsible for full management of dry dock projects with key responsibilities listed below:

Project Planning:
Set docking schedules, plan and perform project kick-off meetings

In collaboration with Fleet department, create and update dry-dock standard specifications

Prepare annual budget

Define project scope and specifications

Issue DAI, in collaboration with superintendents

Monitor project engineering and drawing issuance

Check Purchase Orders for the project, provide technical advice to procurement department during supplier negotiation and selection phase

Project Execution:
Liaise between all parties to monitor execution of the project (dry dock or afloat repairs, class renewals, retrofits and new equipment installation)

Manage deviations to the initial specification

Monitor project expenditures and approve invoices up to limit of authorization

Monitor project status (progress and quality) and take actions when necessary, in liaison with the site office

Perform annual review with the yard and suppliers, including review of claim status.

Project Close Out and Handover:
Perform yard evaluation

Issue EDD, in collaboration with Superintendent

Perform hand-over and closing meeting

Perform project close-out (close contracts, compile final reports and documentation).

Minimum Qualifications:
Master degree in Engineering or Naval architecture, C/E or 2/E

Strong skills in project management and analysis

Good knowledge of Shipping industry and preferably with project management experience.

Fluent in verbal and written communications

Competent with various software, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
