Maintain cleanliness of food labs, equipment, tables, sinks, and floors.
Prepare ingredients and set up for Food & Consumer Education (FCE) and Nutrition & Food Science (NFS) lessons and exams. Manage utensils, cookware, and ingredients; conduct stock checks and discard expired items. Clean ovens, stoves, and arrange equipment, tables, and chairs weekly. Assist in culinary workshops and school activities involving food labs. Support teachers during lessons and handle deliveries and storage of goods. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Preferably with PSLE certificate (relevant experience also considered). Good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to read and write basic English. Experience in school food lab duties and knowledge of food safety preferred. Duration/Working hours: 12 months contract (Option to extend another year) 1 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026) Mondays to Fridays: 8:00am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break Daily start time may be subject to change based on timetable for the semester but number of hours daily is fixed. A total of 8 weeks of service will not be required for each year - 2 weeks during Jun school holidays - 6 weeks during Nov-Dec school holidays Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays ** We regret to inform only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
