Establish the site Environmental Monitoring and sanitation program.
Consulting with the Division Micro SME and Food Safety where necessary.
Lead for the micro/ Pest workstream for Protecting Our Product. Develop goals and actions to meet the PoP goals.
Ensures completion of monitoring schedules to ensure plant environment are maintained to a high standard.
Execute and maintain the site Pest control Program.
Drive and implement continuous improvements to enhance quality and food safety in our products in a cost effective manner
Conduct environmental risk assessment with Division Micro and ensure the site EMP is robust
Develop training material and conduct pest training and Food Safety awareness to site.
Maintain all documentation for pest, sanitation and environmental monitoring program.
Lead the site Pest and Environmental excursion investigation with cross functional team to identify causes, track progress and drive resolution of the quality events.
Perform pest and EMP trending and reporting, develop action plans and drive reduction pest and micro signals and events.
Assess the food safety risk for new projects/modification to the plant in the area of pest and environmental impact, etc.
Major Responsibilities:
Establish and manage the site pest, sanitation, and environment monitoring program (EMP). Review data and develop risk base approach program to protect the products.
Estimate the resources and time required for hygiene program and monitor performance to ensure these targets are met.
Evaluates Micro and pest test results and reports for non-conformances
Perform trending and reporting of on plant EMP and develop action item to improve trend.
Training of cross functional team for swabbing and micro sampling when needed.
Participates and support audit preparation and audit responses.
Provide consultation to cross function team and recommend the right gowning for equipment intervention.
Develop short interval control for pest, environmental monitoring excursion as well as micro in process testing.
Ensure that the day-to-day activities of the pest, sanitation environmental monitoring program are carried out in a safe and productive manner, adhering to GMP/GLP standards at all times.
Lead/participate of all pest and micro events as well as timely completion of all investigation report.
Participate in the monthly micro and pest community of practices.
Perform technical competency assessment for manufacturing personnel for swabbing and intervention
Drive continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency and cost for the plant.
Establishes and influences operating policies related to environmental monitoring, sanitation. Work is guided by general policies and management guidance.
Anticipates operational issues and develops preventative measures. Solves problems impacting the area in a systematic and clear manner that can be understood by cross functional team.
Maintain all Pest, EMP metrics and ensure timely report.
Participate in change control assessment or any risk assessment new projects/modification to the plant in the area of pest and environmental impact, sanitation, food safety, etc.
Establish the competency training for cleaning contractors as well verification of their skill effectiveness.
Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
Basic micro concept and training in environmental monitoring required.
Good practical knowledge of GMP in food/ pharmaceutical manufacturing.
FSSC 22000, HACCP and ISO 9001 knowledge will be an advantage
Good leadership and problem-solving skill.
Good communication and report writing skill.
Team player with imitative, drive, good communication skills and a strong command of written English.
Knowledge in food engineering and experience in a dairy/ nutritional industry, would be advantage.
Education:
Diploma or Degree in Food Science or Chemical Processing.
