To help them expand in Asia-Pacific they are seeking a passionate and entrepreneurial individual with a strong background in food service sales and business development to take on the role of Food Service Sales Lead/Manager.
The ideal candidate must have proven commercial experience selling products and services to both large and midsize catering operations. He has an extended professional network with a focus on global, regional, and local organizations that prepare numerous meals daily across multiple sites.
In the initial phase, this role can potentially be combined with the position.
Key Responsibilities
Key Account Management: Utilize existing partnerships with industry to drive sales growth. Primary focus is to build penetration - convert individual sites to choose their products as the culinary protein of choice.
Collaboration with Commercial Chefs: Work closely with our commercial chefs to build customized solutions leveraging the extensive database of recipes and applications within the food platform for clients.
Sales Growth & Management: Accelerate the adoption by increasing the number of sites using our platform and the quantity of meals served by each site. Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve sales targets.
Performance Goals: Achieve 70% site penetration within existing partnerships. As a subsequent step, expand our customer base by onboarding additional catering partners
Working with third-party consultants, manufacturers, and internal engineering teams to ensure delivery on time, cost, and quality targets.
Key Requirements
A solid track record of 3-5 years minimum in the food service/solutions industry.
Deep passion for the food industry especially plant-based nutrition and sustainability.
Resourceful and hands-on attitude.
Analytical with data-driven decision-making.
Self-motivated with conflict resolution mindset.
Team player with results-driven approach
Strong strategy and execution skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with a willingness to travel extensively within APAC for demonstrations.
