Job Title: Forwarding Assistant Manager

:
- Act as a senior member of the team, supporting the Manager and guiding junior members in all operational duties.- Play a key role in the team's efforts to achieve the annual GTB target.- Oversee all import/export arrangements, including permit issuance and billing operations.- Negotiate competitive rates with carriers and NVOCCs.- Maintain expert knowledge and oversee the management of licenses (ZeroGST, MES, RACA, etc.).- Act as the primary liaison with customs, IRAS, and other relevant government agencies.- Support sales activities, including customer visits and telemarketing.- Deliver performance reports and contribute to strategic planning (monthly meetings).- Report effectively to the Manager, other departments, HQ, and customers.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in freight forwarding operations (import/export).- Deep knowledge of freight forwarding arrangements and customs procedures in Singapore.- Proven experience and knowledge in managing import/export licenses (e.g., ZeroGST, MES, RACA).- Demonstrated experience in negotiating rates with carriers and NVOCCs.- Business-level proficiency in English.
Compensation:
- AWS - Variable Bonus- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM.
