Foundation Engineer
Job Description
Design foundation systems in accordance with structural loads, ground conditions, and relevant codes and standards.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, geotechnical consultants, and contractors to integrate foundation designs with overall project plans.
Conduct foundation load assessments and settlement analysis using software and manual calculations.
Review and approve submittals, drawings, and design changes related to foundation works.
Monitor and inspect foundation works on-site to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
Support procurement teams by reviewing foundation-related materials and construction methods.
Participate in project meetings, site reviews, and progress reporting.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field 2-5 years of experience in foundation design and construction. Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, and other relevant tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to work in both office and construction site environments.
