At Design for Change Singapore we unleash the I CAN mindset of children and youth through various Character & Citizenship Development, Innovation, Life Skills and Leadership programmes using design concepts. There is an urgent need to prepare our young people to both navigate an unknown and complex future and believe they have the skills to shape a more just, fair and compassionate future. DFC Singapore is the exclusive country partner of Design for Change, the largest global movement of change by children (www.dfcworld.com) TRAINERS: We are looking for experienced facilitators who are passionate about empowering children and youth with this I CAN mindset. Facilitators will work on a freelance basis. Training, materials and lesson plans will be provided. Instructors with relevant professional certification(s) or accreditation(s) from reputable organisations (E.g. WDA) qualifying them as Design Thinking Coaches/ Trainers/ Instructors will be preferred \xc2\xb7 Deliver classroom training for Design Thinking, Life Skills, Character Development, Leadership and related programs. \xc2\xb7 Facilitate the students in the classroom to deliver effective and engaging programmes. \xc2\xb7 Follow the workshop activities according to the program design and adapt the delivery if needed to suit the learning style of the students. \xc2\xb7 Take ownership of the delivering an effective programme to meet the objectives and outcomes of the programmes. Job Requirements \xc2\xb7 Qualified trainer or ex-teachers with at least 2 years of teaching or training experience. \xc2\xb7 Effective communication and classroom management skills is a must. \xc2\xb7 Enthusiastic and passionate about empowering children and youth. \xc2\xb7 Experience in facilitation and training with knowledge of MOE guidelines in areas of CCE, SEL, Leadership and Life Skills. \xc2\xb7 Skill to understand various pedagogy models, methodology and concepts is essential. Additional Information \xc2\xb7 Interest and knowledge in using Design Thinking Methodology will be an added advantage. \xc2\xb7 Experience in working with youth at-risk/ NT/ NA and having worked with teachers will be useful. \xc2\xb7 MOE registration as a trainers is a must.
