Purpose of the role:As a front end developer, the people in the role will be in charge of front end application design and development/operation (bug fixing, maintenance and optimization), that applies on, web responsive applications, internal and external end user web applications. Always prioritizing correct performance and unified experience on the application(s) in case, including the relationship/use of backend. FAST GROWTH ROLEJob role and responsibilities:Scope:

• The frontend developer will work closely with backend developers, Applications Architect(s), and ITSM resources. (Colombia and Philippines)
• Design of prototypes, UI aligned with UX and front end standards (brand) guidelines alignment.
• The services will be provided to worldwide, regional, and local Inchcape markets.
• Will support on the UI/UX definition on specific applications for a correct operation always keeping the vision on good performing applications.
• Must do frontend development aligned to the standards, best practices, and UX.
• Active participation on the business application projects, implementing frontend solution and oversee the business application solution development and operation to keep a useful and great experience web solution.

Strategy & Planning

• Collaborate with regional leaders to determine frontend software development approach (over the back log). Aligned with backend developers
• Provide time and effort estimates for business applications development (frontend)
• Time planning for backlog realization (requirements, bugs, optimizations)
• Develop and execute test plans to check proper business application performance. Report on findings and make recommendations for improvement.
• Development and Operational execution:
• Collaborate with regional and local users to define business requirements for business applications development obtaining buy-in for backlog realization.
• Participate in new and existing business application projects, design, and development for compliance with standards, brand identity and deployment plans.
• Knowledge sharing and guidance to the youngest members of the team.
• Create a continuous communication relationship with backend developers, stakeholders, and service management team.

Formal Education & Certification:

• Four-year degree or diploma in the field of information technologies
• 3 years equivalent work experience (frontend development).
• Best practices front end development training.
• Agile methodologies training

Skills and experience required:Knowledge and Experience

• 2-3 years equivalent work experience (frontend development and maintenance).
• Good understanding of cloud solutions and software as a service.
• Knowledge of best practices of FRONTEND software development and operation
• 1-3 years developing web applications (.NET Core, C#, ASP.Net, SQL Server, Web API, Entity Framework, Microservices, JavaScript/Typescript, HTML5 & CSS )
• 1-3 years using Java for Enterprise applications
• 1-3 years using frameworks Express/JQuery
• 1-3 years using Git or versioning tools
• 1-3 years developing on CMS solutions
• 1-3 years doing software testing and documenting findings and solutions
• 1-3 years doing maintenance and support on business applications (Frontend web)
• Technology
• Strong knowledge on responsive web applications
• .NET Core, C#, ASP.Net, SQL Server, Web API, Entity Framework, Microservices, JavaScript/Typescript, HTML5 & CSS
• 1-3 years using Express/JQuery
• Knowledge and experience on CMS solutions is a key aspect.
