Job Responsibilities



Provide courteous and efficient service and whenever possible, to comply with each and every guest's requests To build a good rapport with all guests and resolve any complaints / issues quickly to maintain high quality customer service. To be responsible for the assignment and blocking of rooms for arrival guests, particularly VIPs guests and Groups. To be responsible for the preparation of all the necessary materials, Registration Card, Welcome Folder, Fruit Basket, Cake, Key and etc. prior to VIPs guest arrival. To work closely with Duty Manager, Reservation and Sales personnel on all VIPs reservation. To deal with guest requests to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay. To assist in dealing with customer complaints in an effective and courteous manner, providing or seeking solutions as quickly as possible. To ensure that all reservations and cancellation are processed efficiently. To keep up to date with room prices and special offers in order to provide accurate information to guests. To report any maintenance, breakage or cleanliness problems to the relevant Manager. To adhere to all fire safety procedures and to assist in the evacuation process in the event of fire. To conduct On the Job Training and provide guidance to junior staff. To frequently checks on all hold mails, faxes, messages and hold-for-collection items to ensure that the guests receive them on time.

Requirements



Experience in front desk service / customer service Knowledge of OPERA system would be an advantage
