Job Description

Key Responsibilities





GUEST SERVICES



Greet guests warmly on arrival


Check-in and check-out procedures


Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications


Assign rooms and issue key cards


Communication & Coordination


Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage guest inquiries


Coordinate with housekeeping, room service, and maintenance


Relay guest requests or complaints to the appropriate department


Administrative Duties


Maintain front desk records and reports


Process payments (cash, card, online)


Update guest details in hotel management software (PMS)


Maintain visitor logs and handle mail/messages for guests


Customer Satisfaction


Resolve guest issues with professionalism


Provide information about local attractions, restaurants, and hotel services


Upsell hotel services and amenities (spa, dining, etc.)





Key Skills & Competencies



Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Professional appearance and demeanor


Problem-solving abilities


Multi-tasking and organizational skills


Knowledge of hotel software (e.g., Opera, IDS, or Cloudbeds)


Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus


Basic accounting/cash handling knowledge
