Front-End Developer

About the role:

OLIVER is seeking a Front-End Developer to join a high-profile account for a Fortune 500 financial services firm. This global account has already seen growth and is continuing to expand.



As the Front-End Developer/Designer you will be responsible to predominantly work on building out banners, CRM, emails, micro-sites, and other digital projects that are created by the creative team. Along with contributing to the design process to ensure all concepts and layouts will work within the program and technology limitations.


This role requires fluency in English.

What you will be doing:

This dedicated team is comprised of project managers, creative and digital designers, developers, and video producers. The team also partners closely with Japan, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Mumbai and our global counter-parts in US and UK.


Accurately implementing the designs that come out of the creative / design team Working on multiple products, including custom developments and mobile responsive applications Ensuring all code conforms to the standards, coding methodologies and best practices Ensuring all code releases to the live environment conform to company regulations Producing quality code and working with the testers to ensure correct functionality and behavior and for fixing day-to-day bugs Researching and maintaining knowledge of developments relating to new technology, and exploring whether any new developments or existing technology can be pushed to do more for our clients Liaising with creative team to ensure feasibility of all ideas

What you need to be great in this role:

4+ years of experience HTML5 / CSS3 (SASS) Experience with JS libraries like jquery 3 years of experience JavaScript frameworks (Angular typescript) programming experience Knowledge and experience in hand coding HTML email Expert knowledge of AEM Basic design skills, 1 year of experience programming digital assets following brand guidelines Experience of and enthusiasm for working within an Agile environment Excellent attention to detail and an analytical mind Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new languages and technologies. Strong time management skills and ability to effectively prioritize Strong communication skills Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
