The KPMG financial services advisory team assists banks and capital market sectors in managing their day-to-day business challenges and developments. We support our financial services clients on multiple diverse consulting projects that include:

• Business growth (e.g. market entry, customer insights, merger and acquisitions support)
• Operational process improvements
• Organisation-wide functional (re)design
• Change management and project management
• Digital and technology enablement
• Programme management support
• Data driven transformation

As KPMG embarks on a rapid growth strategy to become the preferred data driven strategy execution firm in South East Asia, we established the propositions in data driven transformation, and cloud & data center-of-excellence for all the different line of businesses to serve our clients. The ideal candidate should have experience in digital and data driven transformation while working for cloud providers, consulting firm or financial services organisations.

This dynamic role, to join a growing and developing team, involves:

• Engage with C-suite and IT leadership to define cloud strategy, cloud adoption plan, cloud transition plan
• Responsible for the definition, design and interpretation of technical architecture artefacts taken from client requirements, to create solution design, POC verification, solutions architecture, architecture blueprint, technology roadmap, etc. to meet business requirements
• Architect and deploy enterprise level solutions on cloud platforms and on-premise infrastructures
• Apply security best practices when architecting and deploying solutions on cloud platforms
• Work closely with solution architect, sales, business development, internal and external suppliers to produce quality and cost-effective technical solutions to address customer requirement.
• Assist in project delivery from a perspective of architecting, designing and delivering capabilities to the existing environment from infrastructure through to systems and application
• Maintain technical skills, certifications and knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community specifically in the cloud space

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information System, IT or equivalent
• At least 7 years of working experience in cloud service delivery / technical management role
• Proven track record of exceptional architecture decision analysis that can link to operational impacts
• Experience with platforms (Google Cloud, MS Azure, and AWS)
• Professional certifications in AWS, MS Azure, Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) or Government Private Cloud (GPC)
• Experience in designing solutions utilizing one or more emerging technologies (e.g., cloud, AI and machine learning) to deliver business value which are secure, scalable, reliable and effective for adoption
• Strong client and stakeholder management abilities coupled with excellent communication, written, analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
