United Kingdom Ministry of Defence - Singapore Support Unit

You will be part of a busy fuelling and logistics services operation in a fuel depot and wharf management environment.





This is an entry level position with a starting salary of $2,600. Upon successful completion of the probationary 6 months period, your basic salary will increase to approx $3,000. Paid overtime will form a substantial part of your overall remuneration. Do include your current and expected salary in your application / CV.



After training, you will be involved in the operations of installation machinery, equipment, pipelines, handling of large fuel hoses and routine maintence tasks.


You will also carry out other duties as required.





You must be willing and able:


Team worker Physically and mentally fit To wear breathing apparatus To work in confined spaces Not be afraid of heights
You must be willing to work paid overtime at short notice with occasional 12 hour shifts.

Essential

:


Police check and pre-employment medical check Min Class 3 driving license (any higher will be viewed favourably) Good command of written and spoken English Good interpersonal skills and flexibility to changing priorities Good team player - enthusiastic, self-motivated, problem solving skills

Desirable

* Relevant experience in an operational / engineering environment within the oil & gas industry would be an advantage.
