We recognize that at its core, e-commerce is as much about software and platforms as it is about products and branding.Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer who specialises in eCommerce platforms, particularly Shopify. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of frontend and backend development, experience with Shopify APIs, and a keen eye for optimising eCommerce solutions. You will work closely with our other developers, designers, and marketing team to create and maintain seamless, high-performing online stores.Key Responsibilities:

• Full Stack Development: Take charge and Initiate end-to-end software development, including front-end and back-end, to create robust and efficient applications.
• Front-End Development: Design and implement responsive and user-friendly user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Back-End Development: Develop, optimize, and maintain server-side components, databases, and APIs to ensure data integrity, reliability, and performance.
• API Development: Create RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs for seamless communication between the front-end and back-end systems.
• Database Management: Manage and optimize databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data migration.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices to safeguard user data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Write unit tests, conduct integration testing, and perform code reviews to ensure the quality and reliability of the software.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, improve response times, and optimize code algorithms for efficient application performance.
• Technology Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest technologies, frameworks, and industry trends relevant to full stack development. Research new tools, evaluate their potential benefits, and make recommendations for technology adoption or improvements.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, APIs, database schemas, and coding standards to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
• Scalability: Plan and implement strategies to ensure the scalability of the applications to handle increasing user bases and workloads.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other developers, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders on projects, change requests, technical issues, and escalations.
• Ad-Hoc Tasks: Undertake other technical and IT-related tasks as required to support the evolving needs of the organization.

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with a focus on eCommerce platforms and Shopify.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Node.js, Ruby, Python & PHP.
• Experience with Shopify API integration and customization.
• Familiarity with database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience with other eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or BigCommerce.
• Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Vue.js).
