ABOUT US

Dyson\'s multidisciplinary Energy Storage development team is responsible for delivering cells from early prototypes in the UK, through to volume manufacture in a Singapore plant.

The cells that the team delivers will push the boundaries of performance, power density, and efficiency. These cells will drive new high value Dyson products with step improvements over our competitors.

As a Fullstack Engineer, you\'ll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing software solutions that elevate our project to new heights. Collaborating closely with the project team and external stakeholders, your expertise will ensure that our software solutions exceed requirements for functionality, performance, scalability, and security.

In this role, you will be a key player in crafting software solutions and integrations for an array of manufacturing equipment, sensors, and enterprise systems. Your creative flair will shine as you contribute to Proof of Concepts (POCs) that drive innovation, collaboration, and the maturation of new capabilities.

Responsibilities

Participate in the design, development, and integration of robust and responsive frontend and backend applications, utilizing modern technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Python.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs, ensuring end-to-end functionality.

Utilize your expertise in cloud-based solutions, leveraging platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure.

Drive innovation through a deep understanding of cutting-edge software development tools and techniques.

Ensure strict adherence to best practices, coding standards, and stringent security guidelines.

Requirements

Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on both frontend and backend development, as well as API integration.

Proficiency in a combination of frontend and backend technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Python.

Experience in API integration and connecting diverse Enterprise applications.

Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles, enabling the creation of intuitive and visually captivating interfaces.

Exposure to cloud-based solutions, with a track record of contributions on platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure.

Demonstrated expertise in Agile software development practices, including Kanban, Scrum, and Jira.
