We are seeking
experienced Functional Test Analysts
to join our testing team and support
System Integration Testing (SIT),
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
&
Non-functional test
phases of the implementation. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, collaborating closely with finance, IT, and transformation teams.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the end-to-end testing lifecycle for the EPM implementation, from test planning to execution and closure.
Understand business and functional requirements, consolidation, reporting, and financial planning processes.
Develop detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data aligned with business scenarios and user journeys.
Execute
System Integration Testing (SIT)
and support
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
, ensuring test coverage across multiple entities and finance functions.
Log, track, and manage defects in line with project governance processes, working with developers and functional consultants for resolution.
Collaborate with business, solution architects, and finance SMEs to validate requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Support test automation initiatives where applicable, leveraging on functional automation tools such as
Selenium or UFT or Tricentis Tosca
to streamline regression testing.
Contribute to test progress reporting, metrics, and continuous improvement activities.
Required Skills & Experience
3-6 years
of experience in functional testing, preferably in
financial systems / EPM / ERP / BI
environments.
Experience with
System Integration Testing (SIT),
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
and Non functional testing phases is added advantage.
Solid understanding of finance and accounting processes -- e.g., consolidation, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Ability to analyze functional specifications, design effective test cases, and validate data flows and reports. Knowledge in SQL and ability to create queries to insert, update, remove data in tables for testing.
Strong defect management and documentation skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially with business and finance users.
Desirable (Nice-to-Have)
Experience in working with other EPM tools (Hyperion, Anaplan, OneStream, SAP BPC, etc.).
Experience with
test automation
tools (Selenium, UFT, Tosca, or similar).
Exposure to working in multi-entity / multi-subsidiary environments.
Familiarity with Waterfall,
Agile
or
hybrid project delivery
methodologies.
* ISTQB Certification or equivalent testing qualification is a plus.
