Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Functional Business Analyst to lead and manage the end-to-end activities for a Fircosoft upgrade project. The role requires strong domain expertise in payment screening, hands-on knowledge of Fircosoft (including upgrades), and the ability to bridge business requirements with technical delivery. The analyst will be responsible for driving requirement gathering, design, functional specifications, testing strategy, and ensuring a smooth go-live.





Key Responsibilities





Lead the analysis and design for the Fircosoft upgrade project. Conduct requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders and translate business needs into detailed functional requirements. Prepare and validate Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) ensuring completeness and alignment with business objectives. Develop and oversee test strategy, ensuring comprehensive test case coverage for SIT/UAT. Manage defect resolution by coordinating between business, testing, and technical teams. Act as the primary liaison between the business community and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Support user and task analysis to maintain the business perspective in solution design. Ensure seamless transition and readiness for go-live. Requirements Must-have experience in payment screening, specifically handling SWIFT/MT messages. Hands-on experience with Fircosoft, preferably including upgrades from version 6.5 to newer releases; experience with other payment screening systems is an added advantage. Familiarity with WUM (Watchlist Update Manager) and SOC (Sanctions Operations Center) processes. Strong techno-functional background with proven experience as a Business Analyst / Project Manager in payment screening projects. Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. * Ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment, managing competing priorities effectively.
