About the Team & Business Line:

As a core member of our Fund Accounting team, you will be working with some of the industry\'s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Your Role:

• Your role will encompass all facets of the calculation of net asset values on a variety of complex hedge funds. Working closely with the senior fund accountants, supervisors and/or assistant vice presidents, your responsibilities will include;
• Performing the administration of and any services pursuant to administration agreements in respect of a portfolio of hedge funds;
• Execute the financial control elements covering assets, liabilities, income and expenses and equity;
• Initially assisting with the preparation of Net Asset Value calculations, financial statements and associated reports with a view to operate independently within deadlines;
• Performing daily & monthly reconciliations for hedge funds independently;
• Working with the Investor Relations group;
• Meeting expectations of fund participants, adhering to deadlines;
• Maintaining day-to-day relationships with investors, investment advisors/managers, banks, brokers and auditors and other fund participants;
• Assisting auditors and other advisers, preparing Annual Reports;
• Assisting Supervisor and Account Manager where required;
• Assist in the execution of new business onboarding to successful completion;
• Prepare ad hoc reporting in line with client and internal requirements;
• Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure that client needs are met;

About You:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting , Finance, Business related area and/or studying for a professional accounting qualification
• 1-2 years of experience in Financial Services with high volume operational environment and/ or hedge fund industry is an advantage
• Display an active interest in the financial markets and hedge fund industry
• Strong financial and/or accounting and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel etc) performing the administration of and any services pursuant to administration agreements in respect of a portfolio of hedge funds;
