Fundraising Officer/Executive The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) is seeking a committed, collaborative and dynamic person to join the team. As the fundraising officer, you will manage the various fundraising initiatives at the SPCA and plan fundraising events. While challenging, your work will make a difference in the lives of animals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage sponsorship programs and SPCA\xe2\x80\x99s iconic donation boxes

• Manage and build relationships with various stakeholders such as donors, board members, fundraising sub-committee and sponsors

• Work with various stakeholders to plan and organize fundraising events such as Flag Day and Gala dinners

• Collaborate with corporates, student groups and individuals for various fundraising initiatives

• Conceptualize and drive effective fundraising strategies

• Assist in developing donor retention strategies

• Preparing fundraising materials such as appeal letters and presentations
  

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in any discipline

• 2 to 3 years experience either working or volunteering in a fundraising role preferred

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Able to work collaboratively with colleagues from other departments and external stakeholders

• Passion for animal welfare
