Within CISO, the Global Event Management (GEM) Operations Team is responsible for managing and improving the GEM Process globally, providing oversight and coordination for the highest criticality vulnerabilities (GEMs), and for managing the vulnerability lifecycle for technology products owned within the Chief Information Security Office (CISO). We'll enable growth and progress together. #CISO The Vulnerability Operations team was recently formed to lead the operational response to the most critical cybersecurity vulnerabilities, known as GEMs, and to drive tactical and strategic improvements to the GEM Process and Vulnerability Threat Management (VTM) Reporting and Governance. Within the Vulnerability Operations Team, the Operational Response team will manage all potential and newly activated GEMs, including tactical coordination with security, engineering, and operations SMEs, alignment with Fusion Center communications, organization of remediation response instructions and data, stakeholder management, and remediation/status reporting. The team will also provide around-the-clock vulnerability data and global stakeholder support. The GEM Operational Response Analyst will be part of the Operational Response Team, partnering with regional counterparts in NAM and EMEA. Key responsibilities for GEM Operational Response Analyst include, but are not limited to: Conduct ad-hoc investigations using software, technology inventories, patch status, and vulnerability exposure. Interface with business units and IT stakeholders to identify and understand security monitoring and response requirements and design solutions to meet business unit and IT stakeholder needs. Build effective relationships with key stakeholders who own and support IT infrastructure, applications, processes, and operations. Act as point of contact for managing and delivering various vulnerability and remediation reports. Regularly communicate the progress of initiatives in writing and/or in presentation to senior leadership. Work with various risk and information security teams in presenting vulnerability management status and updates to technology subject matter experts and management. Identify and implement process improvements. Manage corrective actions for existing documented issues and document new ones as needed as risk is identified. Support audit and regulatory requests and engagements. Complete any other tasks in connection with the role but not detailed in the current job description, charged by the direct manager, supervisor, or the functional head. Requirements : 5 years' relevant experience, with proven ability to manage conflict, provide leadership, organize, and make decisions. Expert in writing and executing queries in Microsoft SQL Server. Working knowledge of one or more patch management or vulnerability management tools. Technical background in Windows/Unix Operating systems, python, security technologies, and network architectures. Ability to brief technical risks and issues to executives and business leaders. Demonstrated ability to lead the development of specific proactive procedures for the detection of security breaches across a large enterprise network. Demonstrated experience working with senior management on highly sensitive projects that require the utmost discretion and maintaining strict confidentiality on all data, records, and tasks as required. Possession of industry certifications highly preferred, including, but not limited to, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC). Excellent attention to detail. Experience solving complex data flow challenges. Knowledge of security assessment methodology and risk management process. Knowledge of other business analytics software is a plus. Strong knowledge of industry standards as they relate to information security management.
