About Our Client
The client is a multinational engineering consultancy firm headquartered in Europe. They are one of the industry leaders and are looking to bring in a General Accounting Service Delivery Manager to join their team in Makati.
The General Accounting Service Delivery Manager is responsible for:
- Overseeing the overall general accounting process including: balance sheet, treasury and payroll accounting, month-end closing, financial reporting, etc.
- Identifying areas of improvement for the general accounting function to ensure smoothness of the general accounting operations
- Spearheading process improvement projects for the general accounting process to achieve operational and cost efficiency
- Achieving high productivity of the general accounting team, ensuring that tasks and available resources are delegated properly
- Establishing SLAs with company stakeholders, monitoring team performance to meet target SLAs, and maintaining performance metrics at a high level
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for General Accounting Service Delivery Manager role has:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or any business-related course
- More than 10 years of experience in Finance & Accounting within a multinational or shared service environment
- Expertise in the end-to-end general accounting process
- Strong negotiation skills and influence paired with good customer service mindset
- Proven track record of managing a large team and success in spearheading projects related to general accounting
- Strong analytical skills especially and continuous improvement mentality
- Good multi-tasker and shows initiative
