Location: Pasir Panjang Base Salary: $3500 Working schedule: Mon - Fri, 8.30 am to 6 pm

Job Scope: Support in the function of GL Accountant scope for Business unit.
- Handles full sets of accounts including journal entries, prepare all accounting schedules to ensure accurate and timely provision for month end closing and reporting as well as, year end closing of accounts activities and audit activities.
- Oversee finance executives in daily finance operations work, including checking on all AR, AP posting entries are in completeness and accurate. Monitor and assist to help the finance team\xe2\x80\x99s executives in their daily operational work.
- Responsible for and to perform GL Accountant function \xe2\x80\x93 monthly receipts, payment and bank reconciliation with books and system against bank statements which also includes, prepare, post journal GL entries and ensure completeness before performing reconciliation on books with system, and bank statements on monthly basis.
- Prepare and manage all monthly recurring entries and accruals entries and perform posting to system.
- Manage inventory, fixed assets ledger and perform monthly reconciliation.
- Perform deposit / prepayment weekly and monthly reconciliation with books.
- Verifying and checking completeness before Issuing Interco DN/ CN before closing monthly accounts.
- Prepare and publication for all various financial statement reports per weekly and monthly requirements, and checking for accuracy and completeness after closing, while meeting tight deadlines.
- Support team members and work with external auditors to provide audit trail supporting documents for all audit and governance work, including taxation management, GST e-filing and treasury work.
- Prepare and analyse budget and forecasts planning for the company.
- Assist to Finance Manager in all Ad hoc finance related work.
- Innovative mindset and participate in improvement projects to streamline processes for the finance team.
- Matured deposition with positive mindset to make things happen, in a highly dynamic environment.
Requirements:
- Education Qualifications: Minimum Accounting Degree. (preferred with CPA certified Accountant or Accounting graduate background.)
- Preferred to have working experience with SAGE Accpac system.
- At least some years of experience handling full set accounts and performing finance reconciliation activities for month end, independently.
