Job Description


JOB SCOPE

Elevating Guest Experience

  • Drive a core team to deliver best-in-class service execution and service in an upscale Asian dining environment
  • Work with the venue\'s Executive Chef to plan a year-long calendar of promotional activities / special menus
  • Curate memorable and unforgettable experiences for guests and VIPs
  • Drive a best-in-class beverage programme including wines, spirits, Chinese baijiu & teas
  • Exceed Net Promoter Score targets and propose improvement plans to mitigate service shortfalls
  • Drive initiatives to enhance personalization/recognition opportunities for guests
  • Deliver unique collaborations with internal and external chefs to deliver value-added experiences to guests
  • Monitor and address guest feedback proactively, while maintaining guest profiles on a regular basis
  • Deliver on CAPEX plans for the venue
  • Perform weekly inspections to follow up on critical repairs and addition & alteration works, in collaboration with Facilities, to ensure outlet is well-maintained
Developing Topline and Bottom Line Growth
  • Review operating results regularly and identify opportunities to improve performance
  • Regularly review expenses to ensure flow-through to bottom line
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis of local and international Asian concepts, so as to better benchmark performance
  • Work with Marketing to develop and execute a compelling marketing plan to drive business and PR mileage
  • Participate in property-wide campaigns (e.g. voucher programmes) to increase covers to venue
  • Own the business: Ensure accurate forecasting of business and deliver well-justified, coherent P&L commentary
Managing Effective Teams
  • Drive a solution-seeking culture by pushing teams to constantly review guest feedback and empowering teams to make proactive, guest-centric improvements to operations
  • Build an ops-ready team that takes personal grooming/etiquette & the aesthetics of the venue seriously
  • Work with Human Resources to actively recruit where needed, with a goal of building diverse teams
  • Develop and execute strategies to groom and mentor high-potential team members
Innovating & Streamlining processes
  • Work closely with restaurant management team to increase outlet\'s productivity and efficiency
  • Propose & develop fresh new ideas that leverages technology to improve productivity
  • Investigate & propose solutions to ease process bottlenecks
  • Drive a \xe2\x80\x9cthink-of-the-box\xe2\x80\x9d spirit amongst teams and reward new/creative ideas
  • Deliver cross-department collaborations to enhance operational workflow
  • Monitor and minimize wastage of consumables
Ensuring Compliance
  • Create a safe and clean working environment by emphasizing importance of workplace safety and hygiene, and ensuring employees are sufficiently trained on such aspects
  • Ensure all cashiering procedures are processed in compliance with accounting standards
  • Participate in company-wide Sustainability/CSR initiatives
  • Socialize new Waste Segregation processes amongst teams in the lead-up to new regulations in 2024
  • Build culture of compliance built on ethical standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 5-8 years\' experience in a renowned restaurant group, integrated resort or luxury hotel chain. High-end Chinese restaurant experience highly preferred.
  • Equipped with a comprehensive set of F&B operational skills, with a focus on VIP service.
  • Possesses a can-do spirit, always thinking out of the box and never satisfied with the status quo
  • Capable of building and managing relationships with multiple departments as well as VIPs
  • Able to manage complexity and a dynamic working environment
  • Strong in administration, understands financials & proficient in Microsoft Office programmes
  • Have a well-groomed, professional appearance
