The General Manager leads and oversees all operations of the Construction & Renovation Division.
This position is responsible for strategic planning, project execution, financial management, and business growth.
The role ensures that every project is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Operational Management
Develop and implement business strategies, annual operating plans, and budgets.
Oversee day-to-day operations, resource allocation, and project performance.
Review departmental KPIs and ensure targets are achieved.
2. Project Supervision
Direct and monitor construction, renovation, and interior fit-out projects.
Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
Approve project schedules, progress reports, and cost-control plans.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
3. Financial Management
Manage overall divisional budget, cash flow, and profitability.
Approve major expenditures and monitor cost efficiency.
Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to management.
4. Client & Stakeholder Relations
Maintain long-term client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
Represent the company in meetings with developers, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Negotiate contracts and resolve disputes effectively.
5. Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and evaluate project managers, engineers, and site teams.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Plan manpower requirements and training programs.
6. Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to legal, contractual, and safety regulations.
Oversee implementation of company HSE policies and audit systems.
