Job Description

Our client is entering an important phase of growth across Asia, with new warehouse operations and an expanding regional footprint. To support this growth, the organization is seeking an experienced Regional Security Manager to strengthen security governance while remaining closely engaged with on-the-ground execution.
This role is both strategic and operational in nature. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and embedding robust security policies and processes across the region, while also taking a hands-on approach to addressing day-to-day security and loss prevention challenges at site level. Operating within a lean regional structure, this individual will be expected to lead by example, rolling up their sleeves to deliver practical, effective outcomes.
The position partners closely with Operations, Human Resources, Legal, and regional leadership to ensure a safe, secure, and compliant operating environment as the organization continues to scale.
The Challenges
Regional Security Strategy and Governance

  • Develop, implement, and continuously enhance regional security and loss prevention policies, standards, and procedures aligned with global frameworks and local regulatory requirements
  • Assess the effectiveness of existing security controls through audits, compliance reviews, and exception reporting, ensuring consistency across countries and sites
  • Establish clear governance, escalation, and incident management protocols across the region.
Operational and Hands-On Security Management
  • Lead and personally support investigations into theft, fraud, misconduct, or security breaches, using data analysis, site intelligence, and local inputs.
  • Conduct regular site security assessments, risk surveys, and vulnerability reviews, particularly for new warehouse openings and expanding operations.
  • Partner with site leaders to design and execute pragmatic action plans that address identified risks and improve physical and procedural security controls.
Asia Expansion and New Site Enablement
  • Provide security input into new warehouse design, site selection, and commissioning activities across Asia.
  • Ensure security policies, access controls, CCTV, alarm systems, and local guard force arrangements are effectively implemented from day one.
  • Support rapid scaling by balancing standardization with sensitivity to local security realities and cultural considerations.
Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
  • Build trusted, face-to-face working relationships with regional Operations, Human Resources, and business leaders to embed security as an enabler of operational excellence rather than a control function alone.
  • Partner closely with Legal, Internal Audit, Risk, external vendors, and relevant regulatory or law enforcement agencies as required.
  • Act as a regional advisor to leadership teams on emerging security risks, trends, and mitigation strategies.
Reporting, Insights, and Continuous Improvement
  • Produce clear, structured security and loss prevention reports for regional leadership, highlighting trends, root causes, and actionable insights.
  • Use data and exception reporting to move beyond reactive security management, supporting more predictive and preventive approaches.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen security maturity while supporting safe, efficient warehouse operations.
What It Takes
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in security, loss prevention, or risk management, ideally within logistics, warehousing, distribution, or similarly complex operational environments.
  • Strong grounding in security policy development, process design, and compliance auditing, coupled with proven hands-on experience managing local security issues.
  • Experience operating in lean or fast-scaling organizations, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to analyze and present security data effectively.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and unplanned incidents, with regional travel as required.
