Job Description

Our geotechnical engineering skills are well represented on several high-profile projects and tenders in Singapore, around and other regions, including the North South Corridor, High-Speed Rail in UK, Jakarta MRT and other large infrastructure projects.

You will be part of a dynamic team, working together within multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the development of the business and its members. This role is office based however there will be a requirement to undertake site visits and attend client meetings, if necessary, subject to the prevailing government regulations amid the current outbreak.

The role is expected to:

• Be involved in the delivery of a wide range of engineering projects including deep excavations, MRT and other projects
• Produce documentation, including reports, engineering sketches, engineering calculations, technical specifications, and tender documentation
• Provide support to writing project proposals and business development
• Having an appreciation of the roles of fellow professionals on multidisciplinary projects and interfacing and coordinating with them appropriately
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge and appreciation of current technical standards and practices and taking a ‘hands on’ role in technical matters
• A role in driving to digital strategy within civil engineering

Candidate Specification
About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited University with at least 1-2 years of experience
• Computer literate and familiar with digital technology, strong written and oral communication ability
• Experience in cut-and-cover structure design and underground structures for transportation
• Familiar with latest design software packages (eg Plaxis)
• Enthusiastic and willing to work in a team environment
• Self-motivated with good organizational capability
