Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.

• Prepare and input all corporate adjusting entries in the system on timely manner

• Prepare monthly account analysis/reconciliations of all corporate general ledger accounts with schedules on timely manner

• Prepare monthly trial balance, balance sheet, income statements and cash flow statement of the company on timely manner

• Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations on timely manner

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations on timely manner

• Manage fixed assets monitoring, reconciliations, lapsing and depreciation schedules

• Manage and monitor compliance reporting/filing requirements with government agencies and instrumentalities such as BIR, SEC, MGB, PH-EITI, LGU's, etc. on timely manner

• Handles special projects like VAT Refund application, Tax Planning, etc.
• Prepare audit schedules and assist in documentary requirements to support annual external audit
• Assist/facilitate audits required by third parties such as vendors, customers, taxing authorities, etc.
• Analyze and reconcile inventories
• Work with Accounting Manager to help resolve questions regarding financials
• Perform other task assigned by Immediate Supervisor and Department Head

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
• With at least 3 years of relevant experience doing general accounting, fixed asset accounting and taxation
• With at least 2 years of relevant experience in Corporate Taxation, Tax Research and Reporting
• General understanding on financial compliance with SEC, LGU, MGB-DENR and PH-EITI

• Conversant in IFRS, PFRS and other accounting and financial regulations
• With expertise in AR, AP, Fixed Assets and GL
• Preferably with CPA Licensed
• Knowledgeable in accounting software (e.g. MS Business Central, Navision, Quickbooks)
• Keen to details, familiarity with basic accounting principles, and with strong professional manner
• Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive, able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
