Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and grow the global fiber products\xe2\x80\x99 commercial P&L in anticipation of a significant growth in production activities
• Develop, review, and execute a group-wide \xe2\x80\x9cGo to Market\xe2\x80\x9d strategy on fiber product sales in each of the globally identified markets to fulfill growth and annual profitability targets.
• Optimize strategic commercial and resource allocation matters across the different product lines and geographical regions to fulfill these targets.
• Drive group production and allocation by coordinating with Production, Logistics, Technical, and other relevant Departments on issues relating to product quality and Tracking Satisfaction.
• Ensure the commercial function meets and understands customers\xe2\x80\x99 product requirements (including technical specifications) in each market and translate the requirements to production, deliveries, and allocation.
• Build positive business relationships with key counterparties/customers for long-term business sustainability.
• Develop marketing strategies to establish proper market positioning, pricing, and segmentation of the company\xe2\x80\x99s products in alignment with business objectives to support the growth targets.
• The role reports directly to the Fiber President

Requirements

• At least 13 years of successful commercial management experience in pulp/paper/packaging products or bulk commodities in sectors like chemical, oil & gas, metal, agricultural, etc.
• Proven track record in the management of a sizable P&L (at least USD 1Bn) at the regional level, e.g., Asia Pacific
• Strong understanding of commodity market dynamics, relevant product knowledge, and customer needs
• Possess prior experience overseeing operations and demonstrated experience in managing the value chain from production to customers
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Good leadership and people management skills
• Resilient; willing and able to be hands-on; good at numbers
• A good degree in any specialization, MBA preferred
• Fluent in Mandarin and English

Must have:

• Experienced in global or regional market
• Should have experience in the direct supply of pulp/paper/packaging products
