We are looking for individuals for our Capital Equipment Sourcing Group. Your Job - Is the primary interface to local factory ramp related engagements (eg. Delivery schedule/ delivery schedule/ Startup plan/ Post start up warranty) - Defines local sourcing strategy in alignment with Global Sourcing Team Strategy - Performs and closes site specific negotiations with external suppliers and alignment with key stakeholders - Is the first contact point for internal customers for commodity/category as assigned. - Ensure regular contact with interface stakeholders to recognize developments and needs and support interdisciplinary work to influence and optimize internal processes and procedures - Supports site specific service and supply issues together with industrial engineering, operation & planning, Inventory Management, SQE and internal customer if required. - Identify improvement potential and alternative equipment, services and parts sourcing opportunities, analyze price development, report progress / achievements to GSM and Operations. - Monitor the national and international market to bring new suppliers, product derivatives and product innovations into the purchasing portfolio - Support Commodity Strategies to ensure the long-term, cost-effective supply of products and services - Ensure site specific procurement related team work in commodity - Manage local Supplier Performance Ratings for commodity/category and suppliers as assigned. - Support and perform benchmarking (Clean sheet), spend and commodity analysis and manage supply risk (SWOT analyses and risk strategies). - Ensure close and clear communication as the site commodity lead on capital equipment related and site specific matters. - Initiate equipment commodity sourcing activities to identify cost saving opportunities and supply risk inline with the global strategy and works closely within the stakeholder on supplier/equipment selection. - Perform sourcing, cost and saving reporting as well as controlling of activities against the planned figures. - Ensures proper contract coverage inline with the Global Strategy Owner. - Analyze and control contractual agreements to prepare renegotiations, initiate appropriate measures and guarantee supplies. - Support internal customers and Finance in case of escalations related to supply issues, purchase orderand payment execution Other Responsibilities: - Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs Required Qualifications: - Bachelor/ Master degree in Engineering or Business or relevant field of study. - 4 years of relevant work experience with direct experience in business negotiations and/or sourcing. - Must be able to travel internationally - Fluency in English Language - written & verbal - On Site Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in Engineering or Business or relevant field of study - Extensive experience in negotiation and in building strong relationships internally and externally and the capacity to influence Business Owners at all Levels to use Procurement and Strategic Sourcing capabilities. - Proficiency in sourcing skills & functions including demonstrated ability to drive Strategy Development, Contract Management, Supplier Performance and Risk Management, Market Intelligence and Industry Trend Monitoring for the assigned Commodity/Category. - Demonstrated experience in change management projects with measurable, positive business outcomes. - Ability to lead projects/project management, influencing and convincing customers, presentation skills and selling the value proposition of procurement. - Exceptional interpersonal and team skills with excellent communication skills/written and verbal. - 5 years' experience in negotiations and sourcing for high volume manufacturing in a global Procurement organization. - Experience in semiconductor industry and/or manufacturing startups - In depth knowledge of Semiconductor Capital Equipment Commodities including Spares, Consumables and Maintenance GlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
