Global law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join their Financial Regulation practice group in Singapore. This is a great opportunity at a top tier firm, working with a leading practitioner who has a wealth of experience in both private practice and as inhouse legal counsel. You will be working with a client base of banks, investment managers, broker-dealers, market operators, commodity houses, insurance companies and intermediaries, as well as technology and other companies expanding into the fintech sector on various matters including - licensing and structuring, compliance, corporate M&A in the financial services sector, regulatory change projects and regulatory investigations. Qualifications
- 4+ years PQE
- Admission to practice law in Singapore
- Strong academics and law firm experience
- Broad range of exposure to financial regulatory matters including fintech experience, licensing experience and experience advising on contentious regulatory investigations.
- Mandarin language skills will be an advantage, but not mandatory
