Global law firm would like to hire a senior level funds associate to join their growing Singapore office with a real pathway to partnership prospects. You will have the opportunity to engage in practice building and business development.

This is an international team of private fund lawyers qualified in different common law jurisdictions. You will have the opportunity to work with market leading senior lawyers and given training and transactional experience to develop your career.

The firms\' clients include leading financial institutions, SWFs, insurance companies, pension plans, and regional and global fund managers.

Candidates should have:

• experience in acting for sponsors of and investors in private equity, real estate and infrastructure funds if coming from a funds background or corporate M&A experience from a leading international firm with fund exposure
• the ideal candidate must have prior experience in international fund formation work, advising private funds on operational issues during the term of a fund, an understanding of the fund management regulatory regime and an interest in the fund management industry
• experience in drafting, negotiation, and review of fund documentation including PPMs, LPAs, Articles, investor side letters, legal opinions, subscription agreements and advisory agreements; and, drafting term sheets and issue lists
• be interested in practice building and business development opportunities
• 6+ PQE (UK scale) with top academics preferred
• peer firm experience preferred but not essential
• willingness to travel in Asia and globally
• SG, EW, HK, ANZ, SA, US or other common law encouraged to apply.
