JOB OVERVIEW

Allianz Partners MPM function has a unique and exciting job opportunity available for someone who has the knowledge, medical network development, project management, communications and relationship building skills to drive strategic excellence across all global Allianz Partners medical entities.

The role will focus on the identification, design, implementation, monitoring and reporting of key programs in MPM that will deliver Medical Network Solutions for stakeholders across all lines of business. The candidate will collaborate with MPM regional and central teams to drive delivery in areas such as network growth and provider commercial and contract negotiations via both direct contracting and TPAs

This role requires a person driven by collaborative delivery, understanding of the consulting services delivery and project management disciplines, and the ability to successfully influence in a highly matrixed environment. The role is responsible for identifying business needs, opportunities, gaps or challenges, and building appropriate end-to-end program solutions, in an effective and efficient way, with stakeholder engagement, and appropriate monitoring, controls and reporting capability.

These end-to-end Network Solutions will, in addition to achieving their primary goals, also drive behavioural change by bringing change management mind-set, operational efficiencies, improving bottom line and assuring quality leading to a stronger business performance and more satisfied stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Own and lead the planning, delivery and execution of medical provider network Solutions initiatives including network growth and provider re-negotiation, in support of MPM\'s strategic ambition and AzP growth and M&A initiatives.
  • Establish and implement project management tools to support the delivery of network Solutions initiatives.
  • Network Communications Strategy & execution - including, but not limited to:
  • Medical Provider Finder redesign
  • Client and Broker Network updates,
  • New Business Tenders Support and
  • Internal stakeholder communications.
  • Tiered & Bespoke Network Strategy & execution - including, but not limited to:
  • Global Structured Tiered Networks with continuous monitoring & review
  • Client specific Bespoke solution design with Pricing and Operations stakeholders
  • Driving end to end solutions to support Tiered / Bespoke design - local / regional / global
  • Implementation - internally and with strategic partners such as TPAs
  • Establish and maintain governance in relation to a range of network Solutions initiatives.
  • Pro-actively innovate and collaborate within the MPM function, and collaborate across AzP departments in order to drive delivery
  • Drive, co-ordinate with and provide support to regional and central MPM team managers and their team members to ensure delivery against targets.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively, delivering with key stakeholders within MPM, AzP as well as external stakeholders as needed
  • Other activities as directed by the Head of Central Provider Management & Governance or Head of Global MPM from time to time
  • MPM Operational Execution & Process Excellence- Network Solutions designed to ensure simplified implementation & end to end management with visibility, transparency, timelines and accountability for all stakeholders.
  • Pro-active Communication and consistent Rhythm of Business in terms of monitoring, impact analysis reporting and corrective action identification and implementation - including the delivery of Deliver regular (weekly / monthly) dashboards and reporting to MPM Global Leadership
  • Act as a trusted advisor - Provide direction and guidance to internal stakeholders answering related questions or issues, while demonstrating a positive attitude.
  • Act as a key representative of the MPM function, and ensure an open flow of communication with other business units with which MPM interacts
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this position you will need to have the following skills/ experience:
  • 5+ years\' experience in international health insurance / TPA / travel insurance / assistance or related industries including experience in medical provider / TPA management
  • In depth understanding of international medical provider network management with proven track record in building and managing networks cross borders
  • Educated to degree level or appropriate professional qualification
  • Experience in End to End Program solutions - Research, Analysis, Solution Design, Implementation and ongoing Solution Management
  • Delivery of reports and presentations to Senior Management, with a strong focus on analysis of numbers and identification of trends
  • Experience driving projects in a commercially driven organisation
  • Delivery of reporting through Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint, and familiarity with BI tools.
  • Experience working in a pressurized environment with tight deadlines , and associated ability to prioritise and re-prioritise at short notice
  • Experience in a customer and quality focused environment
  • Project initiation, development, Planning and Organising - Strong project management skills
