Our client is an emerging player in the Global Food Ingredients space and as part of their rapid growth, we have newly created an exciting and pioneering Global Quality Management Systems Lead role to be based in Singapore. Responsibilities Reporting to the Global Head of Food Safety & Quality, this position will engage across all regions to drive consistent roll out of the global QMS and initiatives. This global role will also take responsibility for participating and ultimately leading the global Quality Systems Centre of Expertise. You will ensure the consistent roll out and implementation of the GQMS, and set up system to collate all documents to be stored including but not limited to specifications, certificates (eg FFSC22000, Halal, Kosher). Coordination with the internal audit program and the gap closures will be required, as well as engagements regionally to align on the global best practices for the Quality & Food Safety systems, and with IT and the Global Quality Leadership Team to build the QFS IT masterplan along with the successful roll out of all IT modules. Part of the scope will require working with counterparts to ensure monthly KPI’s with aligned definitions are captured globally as well as collating monthly reports and to highlight issues as required, maintaining and updating all Quality Food Safety Documents as required. Requirements You should have a minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in Quality leadership in Food or Food Ingredients industry, with experience in regional/international project management and motivating teams. Strong stakeholder management with the ability to listen and understand needs of others and ultimately drive alignment to drive common purpose and change is a must. Given the nature of the position, strong influencing and engagement skills, not being hierarchical and able to engage and work with peers and other key stakeholders is required. As this is a pioneering role in the function globally, a self-starter with a clear drive for results, with the flexibility and adaptability to the fast evolving market needs will be necessary.
