About our group:

Sales Operations is a key function within our Sales Organization, chartered with managing the short-range revenue and demand planning process, as well as supply allocation and finished goods management.

About the role - you will:

• 
  Responsible for managing weekly in-quarter operational forecast, with a focus on customer and mix accuracy, and product transitions/customer qual, to support the corporate revenue target.
• Assist in creating the weekly revenue outlook, ensuring alignment to the corporate revenue target.
• Work on demand/supply alignment with Factory operations
• Ad hoc analysis and projects to support Global Sales Operations team.

About you:

• Highly analytical mindset, and desire to problem-solve
• Works with a high degree of accuracy, and validation of data
• Looks for areas to optimize processes and automate tasks
• Intermediate-to-advanced Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, IF-Statements, V-Lookups)
• Ability to work cross-functionally, across regions, and lead projects
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks while meeting critical deadlines

Your experience includes:

• Strong Excel skills or database management experience
• Experience in building business/financial scenarios for key decision support
• Basic Financial accounting knowledge is required
• Prior experience in Sales Operations, FPNA (Financial planning and Analysis), Supply chain or Account Management preferred
• Experience working with disparate data streams and distilling them into meaningful and actionable recommendations
• Proven track record of fostering close, cooperative relationships with peer leaders and other executives
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree and/or relevant experience

The Shugart site (named after Seagate\xe2\x80\x99s founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center.
