Responsible for Global Supply Chain Health, Safety and Security initiatives e.g., crisis management, TAPA Certification, Health, Safety Security Audit, Loss, and prevention etc.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive group health, safety, and security strategy aligned with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
Provide training and education programs to employees and stakeholders on health, safety, and security practices, emergency response procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Establish and enforce safety protocols and guidelines for all supply chain activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
Conduct regular assessments and audits of regional supply chain operations to identify potential hazards, risks, and non-compliance with safety and security standards.
Conduct internal audit based on ISO 45001, 14001 and TAPA requirements and group policy.
TAPA Facility Security Requirements (FSR) - Conduct initial TAPA FSR pre-audit of current facilities and provide a facility status and security plan, costing and timelines to achieve TAPA A Certification
Develop facility level crisis management plan with appropriate Trigger action response plans (TARPS)
Actively engage and partner BU teams to support Client and Customer relations on Security agenda
TAPA Trucking Security Requirements (TSR) - Review existing Transport security protocols and make recommendations to management. Engage 3rd party contractors with a view of ensuring continuity within the supply chain through the implementation of TAPA TSR.
Crisis Management / Business Continuity - Review current facility crisis management processes and make recommendation. Develop facility level crisis management plan with appropriate Trigger action response plans (TARPS) to support business functions in the event of a significant business interruptions.
Loss Prevention - Implement security countermeasures to detect and deter the potential for theft within facilities.
External Audits - Conduct audits of contractor facilities, systems, transportation, and processes.
Company liability - Reduce the company\'s exposure to liability by reviewing contractor compliance to company\'s processes as defined in the contractor goods and services agreement.
Secure shipments - Provided for the safe transportation of High risk or high value shipments. Develop standard operating procedures and implement best practice.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence of accidents, injuries, and security breaches.
Investigations will include but may not be limited to activities such as Theft of money, Theft of property, Misuse of company vehicles, Fraud, System manipulation to gain a benefit, Misuse of company funds, Collusion with outside parties, process irregularities, Company procedure non-compliance, unauthorized access, and Vehicle accidents.
Participate in cross functional projects as and when required.
Requirements
Bachelor level or above on Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field
Minimum 10 years\' experience in a Supply Chain function, with at least 5 years\' experience in a managerial capacity
Experience working in MNC, highly matrixed organizations
Experience working in Supply Chain 3PL is a plus, with exposure to Consumer goods or Healthcare
Experience working in consumer goods or healthcare MNC\'s is a plus
Strong knowledge of distribution operations and logistic internal process
Knowledge of Quality system, ISO, and GMP/GDP
Deep knowledge of security, TAPA Facility Security Requirements (FSR), TAPA Trucking Security Requirements (TSR)
