Job Description

This is a permanent role for the Compliance and Control team under OCBC Global Treasury Business Management. The primary role is to assist in regulatory compliance and operational risk related matters for the Global Treasury business
Responsibilities

• Communicate and promote operational risk and regulatory awareness to Global Treasury staff.
• Represent Global Treasury as Operational Risk Partner in various meetings and working groups related to operational risk management.
• Carry out assessment of Email Content Monitoring escalation for Global Treasury including overseas centres.
• Carry out periodic front office operational risk control monitoring and assessment.
• Carry out assessment, testing and review of the adequacy and effectiveness of the controls in the Global Treasury Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)
• Facilitate periodic quality assurance review by Operational Risk Management
• Report and carry out deep dives of operational risk / loss events and propose controls for process improvements.
• Ensure timely submission of periodic attestation, assessments and reports related to operational risk/regulatory matters.
• Document and implement regulatory compliance procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate the submission of Regulatory Breach Reports and promptly notify the designated Regulatory Compliance Officer on the remedial actions.
• Follow up on projects related to regulatory compliance/operational risk management involving Global Treasury

• University Degree. Degree in Accountancy, Business or Finance preferred.
• Meticulous, quantitative, self-driven and willing and able to work under pressure.
• Familiar with risk control and regulations surrounding the treasury activities.
• Willing to learn with positive attitude.
• Willing to work and share as a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Critical Thinking Skills: ability to identify risks early and develop actionable mitigation plans.
