Who we are looking for
Providing leadership on strategy, pricing and data governance, finance, business performance management, and technology implementation, the GlobalLink COO APAC is responsible for working alongside GlobalLink APAC business heads to develop, evaluate and implement business strategy across the group, cooperating with APAC SSGM and APAC State Street management, help oversee controls and act as an escalation point to GlobalLink and APAC GM leadership, as well as managing marketing strategy and resources for the group.
The COO for GlobalLink APAC will also be responsible for the Resolution and Recovery Plan for GlobalLink in APAC and will need to work closely with the APAC CAO, APAC Risk and APAC RRP teams.
The COO for GlobalLink APAC will also be the primary interface into APAC Compliance and APAC Risk and will therefore need to develop close working relationships with these groups and attend such APAC meetings as TMRC.

What you will be responsible for
As Chief Operating Officer (Managing Director) for GlobalLink APAC you will

  • Develop Strategy for APAC GlobalLink working alongside APAC GL business heads to develop strategy to meet 2023 and beyond growth targets and adherence to Corporate Goals
  • Drive implementation and tracking of strategy
  • Ensure alignment with division and corporate goals by working with APAC senior management and Corporate Strategy
  • Manage communication on GlobalLink to APAC senior management: Management Committee, Board, Regional Committees, Risk Committees, etc.
  • Responsible for the project to lead Global regulatory reports (except MifidII)
  • Responsible for APAC GlobalLink Resolution and Recovery Plan
  • Key Liaison point with APAC Compliance
  • Key Liaison point with APAC Audit
  • Key Liaison point with APAC Finance
  • Oversight of key APAC processes and APAC escalation point to APAC senior management
  • New APAC business approval process: manage pipeline of proposals, quality-control proposal materials, ensure implementation conditions are met, report on implementation progress
  • Drive APAC GL learning & development initiatives
  • Drive APAC GL Privacy programme
  • Drive APAC GL Outsourcing programme - policies and procedures
  • Drive APAC GL Risk Excellence efforts
  • Managerial Demonstrate the \'Risk Excellence\' culture in your behaviour
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the scope of the role\'s managerial responsibilities and the competence of the staff reporting to you
