Your field of responsibility

We offer you the opportunity to be responsible for the Risk, Governance and Regulatory function for Investment Management & Client Coverage Asia Pacific (IM APAC). This includes:
  • Risk Management: You will contribute to and supervise Risk Management procedures and frameworks supporting the discretionary business (CAF, KRI, RCSA, MICOS, etc.). You will set up and strengthen the different risk management frameworks across the locations where IM APAC is active (Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, India, Korea, Thailand, China). You will be involved in other risk management topics such as Business Continuity and Operational Risk
  • Governance: As our business grows, you will develop and enforce governance frameworks over new products, new offering and new locations, in close collaboration with First Line of Defense and Compliance. Whenever activities are outsourced to internal or external service providers, you will supervise and ensure state-of-the-art governance on outsourcing agreements
  • Regulatory and Formalities: You will work closely with our Legal and Compliance teams to ensure a correct and complete implementation of new regulations and policies in our business. You will be responsible to maintain and evolve the formalities (contractual documents) related to the discretionary business
  • Review and Audit: During internal or external reviews/audits, you will take a leading role in translating the auditors\' requests and working with the COO team to provide the expected data and answers
  • Discretionary Business: In a growing line of business, you will learn new hard and soft skills by being exposed to and working on the large spectrum of activities covered by the COO team supporting the CS discretionary business in APAC.

Your skills and experience

You have proven experience in working on topics related to risk management, regulatory changes, governance, business management, operational risks and project delivery in the private banking or asset management sector. To excel in this role, you should possess below:
  • A Degree with a major in Business Administration, Economics or Finance (CFA, FRM, CIPM is an advantage)
  • 5 years proven work experience or more in a private bank or with an asset manager
  • Proficient in MS Office and keen to learn how to handle the specialized solutions used to support our business
  • A conceptual and analytical approach, a strong will to tackle and improve and a positive \xe2\x80\x98can-do\xe2\x80\x99 attitude!
  • An outstanding dedication to identify, mitigate and monitor risks as well as to create or use tools to achieve it
  • Intuitive skills to investigate a situation and navigate through data, figures and facts
  • An ambitious, dedicated, collaborative and assertive team-player who feels comfortable in managing work across various departments, regions and divisions
