Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Google Cloud Data & AI Architect (Pre-Sales) to support pre-sales and solution advisory engagements. The role requires 10+ years of experience in data architecture, analytics, and AI/ML solution design, with strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role involves close collaboration with sales teams and customers to design, position, and present data and AI solutions that enable business transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with sales and go-to-market teams to identify, shape, and qualify data and AI opportunities on Google Cloud. Engage with customers to understand business objectives, existing data environments, and technical requirements. Architect end-to-end, cloud-native data and AI solutions using GCP services such as BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and related components. Lead technical discovery sessions, solution workshops, and architecture discussions with customer stakeholders. Develop solution proposals, high-level and detailed architecture diagrams, and technical documentation for pre-sales engagements. Build proof-of-concepts (POCs), demos, or prototypes to demonstrate feasibility, scalability, and business value. Collaborate with delivery, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation. Stay current with Google Cloud product updates, architectural best practices, and emerging trends in data and AI.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. 10+ years of experience in data architecture, analytics platforms, or AI/ML solution design roles. Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform services, including BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataflow, Dataproc, Looker, and AI tooling. Proven experience designing data pipelines, machine learning workflows, and real-time or streaming analytics solutions. Hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL; exposure to TensorFlow or PyTorch is an advantage. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive audiences. Prior experience in pre-sales, consulting, or solution architecture roles is highly preferred. * Google Cloud certifications (Professional Data Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect) are preferred.
