Role: Partner, Governance & Movement Stewardship


Level: Senior Executive/Manager

Governance

Partner and support co-op businesses in attaining a high level of governance through initiatives (e.g. grants, training, resources) Liaise with professional organizations and training institutions to drive improvements in policies, people and practices related to governance. Manage resources and implement the initiatives within set budget, funding mechanisms and timelines

Stewardship

Champion and promote the values and social impact of co-operatives by designing and implementing initiatives--such as camps, seminars, and learning journeys--that inspire and empower co-ops and their members to serve as advocates of the Movement. Collaborate with a diverse range of partners in the social and business sectors, both locally and internationally, to develop engaging programmes and educational resources that reinforce co-operative principles and drive positive changes within the movement.

Job Requirements

Experience supporting co-op businesses, social enterprises, and purpose-driven organizations through grant disbursements, training programmes or capacity-building initiatives 3-5 years of relevant work experience; fresh graduates with internships, community involvement will also be considered Bachelor's degree in related fields such as Business Administration, Community Development, Public Policy, Social Policy, or Marketing or equivalent. * Strong passion for community empowerment, with partnership building, stakeholder management, communication and project management abilities.
