JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Create graphics for print & digital Use design software to create logos, web graphics & more. Manage design revisions The ability to clearly communicate the reasoning behind design choices. Develops concepts grounded on the agreed direction, the Director's creative vision and sound visual strategy Demonstrate exceptional visual acuity by offering ideas that can readily be visualized and dramatized Clarifies assignment so that rework and effort spend in developing appropriate ideas are minimal. Ensures that finished work meets quality standards. Shoot footage, computer edits video segments on a variety of tape and digital formats. Generates and inserts on-screen text and graphics in live productions using cameras, switching equipment and a piece of digital editing equipment. Editing is done digitally, since all video is done digitally these days. This includes streaming video for a variety of Internet uses and formats.JOB REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of any Communication Arts/Mass Communication degree or graduate of a Computer Science degree with creative editorial judgment. At least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Skills with Photoshop, adobe premiere, illustrator An understanding of voice-over recording and sound mixing An understanding of how to use and incorporate graphical elements Knowledge of professional audio and/or video tape editing and post-production procedures, techniques, and standards.
